I know that God made me ME for Reason. And maybe that wasn’t to be average, so my beginning wouldn’t be either.

And maybe my beginning wasn’t supposed to be short and simple. Maybe it was the recreation of me.

And maybe my start wasn’t where I started. Maybe the starting line was just my rebirth.

So I move forward, because the end might just be the start of a new chapter.

I watched a man struggle to get up over a wall and refused to allow doubt in…

Man: Slips back down wall

Me: “Well if he can’t get over, then - I probably could.”

Man next to me: Starts laughing at my immediate change in self talk.

I slipped down it once, watched others patiently, then charged at it again, pulled myself up, and threw my leg over the top to haul my body over the wall.

After that, I knew there was no obstacle that would hold me back. And that went for both the race and outside of it.

All this time I had been searching for purpose, constantly pushing myself to grow. Only God knew it was to embody His truth and become Spiritfyt just so I could guide others to do the same.

Spiritfyt is less about your physical appearance and more about your spiritual fitness. Living Spiritfyt can help you grow and evolve in any part of your lives, but I had discovered and practiced embodying the framework in a gym setting, and I test myself with competition.

The Spartan race wasn’t just memorable because of the race itself, but because of how loud my inner voice was, the strength I wielded, and the weaknesses that highlighted during the run. Not only did I overcome them, but I transformed, which was the overall goal.

This video was taken only a few hours before the race, but I prayed and promised myself for transformation, even if it were only slightly in mind. I mean, it took 280 days for me to get to this point so a little can go a long way.

I’m still building courses and getting the Spiritfyt website and tools prepared to share with you all, and I have some boss ideas to share with the community BUT ima just continue to be about it and not just talk about it. When the time comes, you’ll see the results!

I can’t wait to really share the Spiritfyt framework with you guys, but even I still need a deeper understanding which is why I’m still training myself. Until then, enjoy the Instagram posts! It’s literally my Spiritfyt training in real time lol.

All I can say is IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE ADVENTURE!!

Only two obstacles I didn’t get through was the rope climb and javelin throw. Otherwise I got through that 5k and hit ALL my goals! The training, meal planning, and preparing was totally worth it!! Because I finished baby! And I finished STRONG!!

I’m happy my siblings came to support and a big plus to the stranger who high fived me, said she as watching me & called me a beast. Idk this other woman but shout out to the lady who helped push me up the rock climbing wall after getting over. Mind you, this was someone I trailed behind for at least half a mile because she looked like she knew what she was doing. 🤣🤣🤣

I’m grateful and blessed to have a body that can complete this challenge, and I can’t wait until next year!

You are not how you react.

Who you truly are isn’t defined by your immediate reactions, impulses, or emotions, but by something deeper: your intentions, your values, your capacity for reflection, or the choices you make after the reaction.

Reacting is often automatic, while responding—after reflection—is where your true self shines through.

So don’t ever define yourself by how you react. Because God doesn’t. And if you struggle with your reactions, then realize that’s all it is and pray for guidance on how to start responding.

This next chapter is about where they end, and where I begin. I honestly believe we all know who we are but sometimes it’s hard to believe because the people outside ourselves can’t see it yet, and if validation still matters, we see their opinion as fact.

I’ve been pushing myself harder than ever lately, executing my workouts, plans, projects, and new habits. And let me tell you, I’ve been on fire! I’ve come to this revelation that I am truly just a spirit in a body. I know we all seem to know that, but ever since I started going spiritfyt and living by its meaning, I’ve become more aware. I’m really a spirit looking through two eyeballs. My face was given to me. My arms, my legs, and my hair are all a gift. And I have control over it. I have control over my mind, and because I have control over this body, let’s just say I’m the only one who’s going to run it so long as God allows me to.

It completely changes the way that I go about things. I feel more connected and yet I feel detached. I truly see my body as a temple that I’m living in and it’s so empowering. Maybe I could call this a second awakening? Idk. I feel like Rock Lee, opening an inner gate. I just know I’ve finally grasped onto something, and I’m sure I’m just at the tip of the iceberg.

And so…onto the next chapter.

I had a great experience at my last 5K! Just as I thought, it had proven to be harder than my last simply because I was focused on beating my time. I honestly wanted to do better than that, BUT I’m still happy I at least accomplished my goal.

I depended on God to push my through, I made every step count, I didn’t cheat myself once, and I represented Spiritfyt!

Now it’s time to go hard in these next training sessions for the @spartan race!! I am so looking forward to getting through the struggle and running through that finish line a WARRIOR!

Because you can’t build anything without laying out the foundation first. I found that many of us are trying to build something on top of unsteady foundations or no foundation at all. Without some sense of identity, you can’t fully operate as your authentic self, and through authenticity is where you find purpose to build anything worth building. If you try to start something without knowing yourself first, there’s a major chance that you won’t see it come to fruition, or maybe you do, but you found that at the end of that journey you were left empty instead of fulfilled.

The Spiritfyt definition of spiritual connection is the feeling of belonging to something larger, anchoring your identity. Understanding where you came from & knowing who you are helps you align yourself with where you want to be. And I’m not talking about the superficial things, but where you truly deep down feel that you belong. That place is calling to you.

So, if you find yourself wanting to start something, or if you can’t figure out why your ideas keep crumbling, try anchoring your identity first. Know who you are, walk in the spirit, and be your most authentic self. That is where you glow, grow, and flow.

It’s been a long journey here….
And this is only the beginning.

I find it funny how God only gives us puzzle pieces, one piece at a time, but after all the prayers, the questioning, and the patience, I find the struggle worth every piece.

And the next piece He gave me were the steps to becoming Spiritfyt. I know where I want to take this, but I honestly don’t know exactly where it will lead me. All I know for sure is that it’s time to start executing the plans I have now, and I’ll come to realize the destination later.

This next “book” is called Spiritual Connection because that is what the S in Spiritfyt stands for. So for the next 3 months I will be immersing myself into understanding Gods character, His history, His love, and what it means to be obedient.

In a performance driven society, we tend to forget about the most important parts: the side quests. The parts of the story that build your character the most. It’s the parts that aren’t so driven, but just go with the flow. After getting some momentum, this is where we let the river pull us instead. And as side quests go, who knows where it’ll take us? Just know you’ll learn something new on the way.

People will tell you you’re doing too much when you’re operating at your own frequency. Take it as a compliment. The freedom is when you stop caring and you start doing you. Some of us are just not normal. And the ones who push forward don’t care to be.

Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

Proverbs 14:23: “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty”.

Ecclesiastes 9:10: “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.”

Proverbs 13:4: “A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied”.

BUT ALSO REMEMBER THIS ONE: Proverbs 21:5: “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty”.

So move at your own pace, but don’t rush yourselves and take diligent & decisive steps towards your goals.
